Control Plan Management
Generate control plans directly from your PFMEA with automatic synchronization and special characteristics flow.
Auto-Generated Control Plans
Control plans are generated directly from your PFMEA data. For each process step with special characteristics (CC or SC) or high/medium AP items, the control plan automatically populates: operation number, process step name, machine/device, product/process characteristic, characteristic classification (CC/SC), specification/tolerance, evaluation/measurement technique, sample size and frequency, control method, and reaction plan.
Three control plan types are supported per the AIAG APQP manual: Prototype, Pre-Launch, and Production. Configure which fields carry forward between types as your product moves through the APQP lifecycle.
Bidirectional Sync and Special Characteristics
Changes to prevention/detection controls in the PFMEA propagate to the control plan. New inspection methods added to the control plan are reflected as detection controls in the PFMEA.
Special characteristics flow automatically: CC/SC designations from PFMEA severity ratings appear in the control plan with correct symbols (inverted delta for Critical Characteristics, diamond for Significant Characteristics). This eliminates the most common audit finding: inconsistent special characteristic designations between PFMEA and control plan.
Export control plans to Excel using the standard AIAG template format, or to PDF for customer submission.
